This is true of millions of other families around the world as well. Like these other parents, more than likely you sought to preserve these very precious memories of your baby in photographs that you have placed in a variety of photo albums. This is probably the best way in which to preserve these memories. However, the average person will have collected many of these albums over the years. It is great to take them all out once in a while to look through them.

Many people say that a picture is worth a thousand words. However, you will find that your baby photos are worth a thousand memories. A picture of a loved one has the power to transport you back to the time and place where the photo was taken.

One of the problems that you can have with having so many photo albums is that as you turn the pages you leave behind the memories of the last page and then move on to the next. This can cause you to lose the sense of the ‘whole.’ Thankfully there is a way in which you can capture the overview of your baby photos and your memories every once in a while.

What you need to do is take out all of your old photo albums, including the loose ones and your baby ones too. Next, get hold of 3 large pieces of cardboard that you can punch holes along the top of before threading a piece of string through the holes (make sure to leave plenty of spare string at either end). Then you will want to put sticky tape down the joins of each piece of cardboard. This will created one very large ‘white board’ that you can hang up in such a place as between 2 adjacent doorways.

Once you have created this white board, you will then need to select photographs from all of your photo albums that you want to use in the collage. While you are doing this, you should be careful to mark the back of each picture with a letter coding so that you know what album it came from. You may also want to mark the photo with a number so that you know what page it was on.

You can then put the baby photos in the middle of the white board. These photographs can be fixed in place with double sided tape or blue-tac. When you are done you will have a brilliant collage of photos that shows an overview of a part of your loved one's life. You can even add normal and humorous captions to the groups of photos.

This collage of photos will be a major hit. A lot of your friends may even be included in these photographs and they will love seeing themselves and their children too. So, remember, if a picture is worth a thousand words, then your baby pictures are worth a thousand memories.
