Everybody loves photography. The challenge many people have when taking photographs is remembering how their camera operates. I would relate it to a computer software program that you don’t use very often. It’s hard to remember how it works. Same thing with cameras. If you used your camera every day, you would have it’s operation burned in your brain.
So what’s the solution? I’m going to give you a 7 day challenge. Take your camera with you every day for the next 7 days and take at least 7 photographs per day. That shouldn’t be too hard. The benefits will be great.
What will you photograph? How about just everyday life. Who are you friends at work? What do you drive by every day that somebody from out of town would think is really cool? Photograph your children and your friends. Then send some of those photographs to the people that you photographed. Everyone loves getting photographs.
The great thing about photographs is that they are the threads of our life. It’s part of our human connection. It’s a small gift that you give to others. It’s saying that you value someone by taking their photograph. And their are other benefits you get. You get to “see” differently each day by noticing your surroundings more;being more “aware”. Plus it’s a great benefit to learn something new each day.
It’s only 7 photo’s per day. Who’s important enough in your life to photograph?
I would really like to hear about your 7 day journey. Please post your comments here at the bottom of the page.
