7 Day Photography Challenge-Day Two-Gratitude

Yesterday our mission was to photograph things in our life that we are grateful for. Today’s mission is to photograph people that we are grateful for. This photograph is my photography studio is of Sue (on the left, also my wife) and Kelley. They are two people that I am grateful for on a daily basis. When you come to our studio, you will meet them. Kelley is also a photographer and Sue makes sure everything runs smoothly - including me.

Have you been carrying your camera with you each day? Yes, it feels a little funny to have this new item that you have to remember to take with you. Put it with your cell phone and it will be much easier.

So, how did you do with yesterdays idea of concentrating on and photographing things that you are grateful for? I think it also helps bring clarity to what and who is important in our lives. Tomorrow’s area of gratitude is going to be the outdoors. Is there anything in nature to be grateful for? I’m going to make a bold statement and say “yes”.

Take at least 7 photos. Make them really count. Put thought into them. Let them represent how you feel about nature and how you interact with the outdoors.

I dare you to do this, it might even be fun.

Please post your comments at the bottom of the page. I want to hear about your journey.

Here’s a video about choosing a camera in case you want to update your camera.
